FAQs

Can my church or organization support Texas Partners in Mission?

Yes! Gifts from a special offering, designated donations, or percent of budget have all been done in the past.

Doesn't the Texas District's budget include new mission starts?

Yes! At the beginning of this decade, the District in convention pledged to begin 10 new mission starts a year. However, the mission opportunity is so large that Texas Partners in Mission was created to supplement those District funds.

What is Texas Partners in Mission's goal this year?

Through God's grace and our diligence, we hope to raise $430,000 this year.

I would like to help Texas Partners in Mission, but I can't financially support it at this time; what can I do?

Pray that God will bless our outreach to new Christians across the state. Share the news of Texas Partners in Mission by referring others to our website or referring potential partners to Rev. Ken Hennings, Mission and Ministry Coordinator, 1-800-951-3478. Consider becoming a Partner Plus contact in your church or community.

What is Partner Plus?

One of the challenges we face is getting the word of our ministry's potential and purpose to people throughout our District. You can volunteer to become a "voice" for Partners in your church or community. If the Spirit places on your heart the willingness to learn more about "Partners Plus," please contact Rev. Ken Hennings.

I think there is a need for a new mission ministry in our area; who should I talk to?

Contact Rev. Ken Hennings, 1-800-951-3478.

How can I make a multi-year commitment?

Just add a note to your first gift indicating your interest and we will mail you a reminder notice on the anniversary of your first gift.

Is someone available to do a group presentation for my organization or Bible class?

Yes! Contact Rev. Ken Hennings, and he will be glad to schedule your event.
