What is God's plan?
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord,
"plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11
Will God deliver on His plan?
"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen."
Ephesians 3:20-21
God's power is at work "within us!" God has given us over 90 missionaries, men and women who are ordained, commissioned and lay, as His foot soldiers on the front line of outreach of the Gospel. This outreach is shared in at least 15 different languages!

Mission of the Month

LINC North Texas was created by the Lutheran churches in the five circuits that make up the greater Dallas & Fort Worth area and extend to the Oklahoma border. LINC NT was established to reach lost souls for Christ. Under the direction of Rev. Oscar Benavides, LINC North Texas has launched an amazing outreach ministry within public schools. The Student Advancement & Leadership Initiative (SALI), begun in 2010, seeks to empower students and their families while building relationships for faith communities. SALI is a great way for public schools to teach leadership and character to students and to train their parents. Over 60% of the families and students are Hispanic. SALI is currently being used in 14 public schools, led by 24 teachers, with 1,400 families being served. The strategy is to move the families to new faith communities.
