Biography
Paul was born in Bedford, Indiana. He graduated from Concordia College, Seward, Nebraska in 1971. Paul and his wife Becky are members of Faith, Georgetown, where Becky serves as DCE. They have a daughter, Jennifer, and a son, Michael.
Paul has served the church as a Director of Christian Education for the past 33 years. 24 of those years were spent serving congregations in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan before coming to the Texas District. Since October 1995 he has served as Mission and Ministry Facilitator for Area B of the Texas District, and Circuits 20, 21, 25 and 30 of Area C, working with 135 congregations and new missions. He facilitates strategic visioning, leadership development and preparation for change in congregations and comes along side congregations to assist in church planting efforts.
Paul has had additional training in leadership development, strategic vision development, facilitation and church consultation and coaching. He is also a certified coach in Natural Church Development. He edits The Facilitator Letter, serves as district resource for Assimilation/Lay Mobilization, Recruitment, and the call process for DCE’s, DCO’s, and youth ministry professionals. He serves on the Board of Directors of Apple of His Eye - Houston and POBLO - Dallas. In addition Paul coordinates youth ministry and small group ministry for the Texas District.
