The 59th Convention of the Texas District of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod will be held from June 21-23, 2012 at the Civic Center in Lubbock, Texas. Its theme, live to tell, is based on the story told to us in Mark 5:3-20.
District Conventions provide opportunities for worship, nurture, inspiration, fellowship and the communication of vital information. They are the principal legislative assemblies, which amend the Districts' Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws, consider and take action on reports and overtures, and handle appropriate appeals.
